- Reproductions tend to be of higher gloss, less defined and are non-flint or unleaded. The absence of lead (no ring when you tap the glass), is the most effective and easy way to recognize reproductions.
- Original goblets were made in clear, milk glass and selected colours, however these all have the presence of lead and are extremely rare! All Reproductions, in various colours, do not have lead content and will not have a bell tone ring, when tapped.
- Imperial's production of the 1960's is unsigned and the production of the 1970's is embossed with "IG".
- Fenton's production of the 1950's is also unsigned and the production of the 1970's is embossed with an "O" inside a "V".
