- Reproductions are heavier, larger bowled and clearer.
- Sawtooths are much larger on the reproductions.
- Reproductions have a lead content, which makes them more brilliant and gives them a bell-tone ring.
- Most reproductions are signed with a frosted signature on the bottom of the foot. The signature appears as "Fostoria H.F.M.", known as Henry Ford Museum.
