ORIGINAL DEER AND PINE TREE GOBLET - 1870's, American
REPRODUCTION DEER AND PINE TREE GOBLET - 1950's to 1960's, L.G. Wright Glass Co.
Reproductions are heavier, thicker and lack crisp details of the originals. When examining the deer's body, tree trunk and branches, the reproductions show little or no detail.
The horizontal diamond panel above the deer is poorly defined and dull to the touch in the reproductions, where the original's diamond band is crisp and sharp to the touch.
The most noticeable difference is with the branches on the pine tree. On the reproductions, the branches point upwards, however the branches on the original are tilting over due to the weight of the boughs.
