"BRINGING HOME THE COWS"

This rare pitcher was made by the "Dalzell, Gilmore and Leighton Co.", in the 1880's.  It is a common belief among collectors and dealers, that this pattern depicts Laura Secord whipping her cows to send them home.  Notice the attention to detail, surrounding grass and plant life, ducks, tree's, etc.
