"CLASSIC"

-1870's, Gillander Glass Works, American

This wonderful pattern, depicts Classical woman, in various posses inside the three panels that form the pattern.  Between the panels, is an incredible amount of detail, suggesting that the mold would have taken months to develop and create.  Every tableware item has multiple feet, appearing as tree trunks, with the goblets have the same details running up the stems.  Although, there are still a fair number of pieces found in this pattern, it is especially difficult to find one in good condition.  This example was found in an American collection, 2008, and was in pristine condition!
