CAPE COD
Known to collectors as "Cape Cod", the Fostoria Glass Co. first introduced this pattern in the 1970's. It was made into the 1980's, and advertised as "1876 Cape Cod Collection". All items in this pattern were made exclusively for "Avon", who used various glass items to sell their products, such as bath oils, perfumes, colognes, etc. The "Cape Cod" series was a success for this company as people fell in love with both the pattern and beautiful deep Ruby Red colour.
